Shine My Ride were contacted by a gentleman who lives near Burnham-On-Sea. He had recently purchased a 1986 Jaguar XJ6 Sovereign in Cranberry Red, but wasn't entirely happy with how it was looking.
It was decided that it needed more than 'just' a Full Valet. The customer opted to upgrade the valet to allow extra time to be spent on the outside of the vehicle, to improve the depth and gloss of the paintwork
So after fully cleaning the paintwork, removing tar spots, industrial fallout, and claying to remove other bonded contamination, it was time to start polishing. This was done in two stages, before adding any protection.
This process was continued around the car, and the finish was refined to improve it further. Once this was completed, the glass was cleaned etc, and the tyres and trim dressed to finish the vehicle off.
